Were Just a Bunch of Fun Lovin Okies!!!

So i really am trying to be better at his blogging..swear to it!! It has been incredibly hard due to the work i have been undergoing here latley. Anthony finally quit his job working with the boss that stole his TIPS..yes my hard earned hubbies tips were being ripped off by his BOSS!! Gayyy!!! i have to say that B/C it really was..anyway on to a new and unbelievably exciting new subject..kind of!! Income tax season is just right around the corner and i am truly looking at moving companies, uhauls, places to rent once we get to Lawton,OK and also working on my credit score since to it is so bad its hard to even try to buy a pub tent..for reall!! It is soooo frusterating , we wanted to buy a fixer-upper and the loan officer was SSOO rude she didnt go very far she literally called in 20 min after the application was put in and said " you dont qualify..not even with a co-signer( which we have BTW) and i can do nothing to help you." My hopes and Prayers were unevitably CRUSHED!!!
I was so upset i wanted to cry..i told myself that in order to even progress in this life..that is on this earth life..i want a beautiful home for my family and a way to provide for my daughter concerning education and a fun lifestyle. I know that all of this will happen once i go to school for my RN and that will happen once we get to Lawton, OK. Just around the corner from the home we wish to buy is the OU school of Nursing. I am soo excited i know we will be doing well once i get my rn.. And i PROMISED my self that i would follow thru on this.
Anthony is going for his CDL there are plenty of jobs available in Lawton, ok. I prefer for him NOT to go for the long haul trucking jobs..i would miss him wwaayyy to much if he were gone all the time. We'll i should say WE would miss him dearly..kenzie is still his sidekick/partnerin crime to the upto date moment in life. So the same goes as long as it has a storm cellar and a fenced yard with 3 bd. rms. and 2 bathrooms and a ward building close which there is with the temple about 1 1/2 hrs away in Yukon,OK..i am HAPPY as a clam!!!
Now as for the loan officer....i hope that she has a great life..bbuutt i have to say that i hope she learns a little better people skills and being a little more politeness..brat lady....okay i am over it promise..lol

*** I JUST HAVE TO SAY THANKS TO CANDI FOR A GREAT SAN FRAN EXPERIENCE ***

I am soo happy due to the new and exciting things that have happenend. Recently i went to San Fran with my best friend Candi..it was marvelous and we had soo much funn!!! I thought that i would see gay people wearing pink but to my surprise it was beautiful and the area was a lot of funn!! Our first day we got there and we got settled in..that evening we were treated to Red Mango It is this Frozen Youurt place that has scrumptious yummy yogurt!!!! The second day we went to see the Bay Area We went to the shopping area and had fun in the city. I saw some wierd stuff and some new cultural expereinces i liked the wall art that was displayed some were very neat some was lets say...different..

The next day we went to the National RedWood Forest..Excuisite thats the word that comes to mind when i think of those beautiful trees. It was marvelous to think how old they are and if trees could talk what would they have seen?? We went to the beach and had some fun, met up with some of candi's friends she met last summer while she was there on her internship. It was neat to see were she worked and I forgot how much i love the ocean..I wish that my family could have been there to experience it with me. Considering all the stress fina

ncially we have been through( nOT that everyone is dealing with it as well) it was soo nice to relax and soak up some waves.

The third day we went church and it was awesome the lesson was great just what i needed to hear i love it that the Lord always is watching out for mee!! And we went back to the city to see the Golden gate bridge and Pier 39..the infamous pier with all the delicious restaurants and saw Alcatraz and the seals it was funn they were soo dang cute. We went down the famous windind street in San Fran..Overall that day was soo funn!!

The third day was one i will NEVER forget i met my sister. The last time I saw my sister i was four and dont remember much. It was everything i could have hoped for. As an outsiders view candi said i looked like a kid at Disneyland. At that moment i was scared but no matter what all my dreams were coming true!!! I had officially saw and visitied with all the family EX: my dad, my cousin, and the most important my sister Penny. That has been a deep void that is now filled and i must say it was perfect. I now feel like a normal person although some relationships are not what i would like them to be at least i can put a name to a face.

Last Friday Me And Anthony went to the Movies and dinner with our best buds candi and armando. I love dong things with my friends I rarely do things due to my work schedule and usually no money...BUT..I really want to do something like Hike or go camping..SOMETHING for goodness sakes!!! I am soo bored with life in general..all we do is watch movies go eat dinner and occasionally we go to the park. We are really boring people i have come to realize...Iam a happy person and love my family but we dont do exciting things...Soooo..i am making a list..buying a camera and we are doing all the things on the list. This is the only thing i can think of to liven things up....around here b/c its sooo boring!!!!!...

Well its been a long day and a long night i only hope that i will have a better day tommorrow. I hate it when i am not getting along with someone i really love..its very hard!! I realized something today ..they say that time heals..but not necessarily..ur brain never forgets feelings that are associated with certain actions. And its not pleasant..My families been in town from oklahoma visiting for about a month..and their leaving about noon tommorrow. Its been hard financially and we still didnt get to take them places that we wanted too. I feel like they were really bored but with eight people living in a two bedroom apartment..yaaaa...tight spaces.- one bathroom..one shower..GRUMPY EVERYBODY!! oh well what ya gonna do right?? so yes they are leaving tomm. and i just know that Mckenzie will miss her best buddy in the whole world..her cousin kaelie!! She is a doll i really enjoyed her company that and my sister in law...she is really fun to be around. I will really enjoy an oppurtunity to go out on a date with my husband FINALLYYY it is well OVERDUE!!!! My schedule is getting pretty hectic..i really love the eight days off however, the six straight days REALLY messes with me. Il survive, i always manage..i can always think about my husband and how he works out in the heat for about 6-8 hours a day..NEED I SAY ANYMORE!!!! i think nott..
I have set new goals ONE and the only one being that i really am going to draw closer to my heavenly father and gain back my testimony that i have all but lost in the church. I know that the church is true the gospel it shares is true and everything about it holds the truth..nothing wrong with that . The amazing thing is that this time that i have set goals for myself in the churchi have a much greater for myself..i know that my heavenly father has goals for me and i know before i fell from the church i was A LEADER and a strong example to my family and friends. I know that the Lord will bless me in this goal and also i am preparing to receive my endowments and go through the temple..my prayer is that i can be strong hold tight dont get discouraged and be a shining example..b/c thru this i know that the lord will do his part and follow thru..it feels soo good to know this. That and know that i have support in this choice..from best friends, my mom and grandma and most of all even though he is not a member i know that at the end of the day he wants me to be happy.I had a great night with my best friend..soo glad that I have her as a bestie.Livelife. BEE good. doo right!!

Lifes good,,busy but good!! I am enjoying my new schedule i really love that i get to see my family moreoften and am not soo tired. My little ankle biter it POTTY TRAINED!!!!! Iam soo happy and relieved that it has finally happened and she really did it by her self. I am also enjoying the fact that my sis in law has moved here from oklahoma. Now i have a brother in law(n single by the way for all you lovely ladies looking for a COUNTRY BOY..LOL..) I have my sister in law Felicia and my nephew..london soo cute by the way!! The drawback being that my mckenzie and her london fight the moment they see each other..its very fun being the referree..Maybe it'l change sooner or later. Hopefully for all our sanitys sack..they moved to scottsdale and heva a lovely pool..great for tanning. At least for my white legs it is. I am fully trying toi enjoy the dry heat this summer mainly bc were still trying t move to oklahoma and they only have the HUMID..and hott summer. I am really wanting to move ASAP!! It would be really nice to be back in the small town..... one stop light and mostly stop signs..dirt roads..i really cant wait.. Anthony has great family there and there all so fun to be around..laughing soo hard ur peeing in your pants. Also they mostly work in the health care field so we all sit around telling our nurseing home stories..well gotta make this shorter than most..live freely and enjoy life..ttys andeeleigh and anthony

Oh yes its the life..lol..however, work is paying off. Its been hard with the new hours..not that my hours are constantly changing its the fact of getting used to the sleep and getting some of it. I am excited to be getting to go to candis grad party..maybe anthony will cha cha who knows?? If anyone wants to laugh histerically then lets all get together and watch me and my husband get down..lol..no but seriously. Mckenzie is still on the toilet training program..that is the program were i get after her for having accidents and she sits on the potty and its pointless b/c he already went..grr..i feel like i am herding chickens with this one..its really a challenge. I pray she finally gets the hang of things..and gets with the program. I am ready to be off for the next eight days..i always am planning what i will do..its remembering them on the days off. Soo..finally we got the pictures done i am debating if i will be able to handle the rest..that being the weight i have gained recently due to the stress of work and life...all is well though todays my first day of diet!!!!! Starting tonight I am putting my goal of 30 pounds and thwn well go from there...Its my final week of this overloaded schedule....i am soo releived you just dont even know. Anthony is really looking quite well in his pictures he always dropped off pounds and pounds come the summer...he is soo lucky to have that gift....i certainly wish i possesed such powers...well heres my sneak peek to all and i hope ya'll enjoy.....i will adjust to the shock as it settles in.....lol...love to all ttys

Soo yes i am officially trying to double up on the shifts...i am completely regreting this choice now...oh yes indeed. However, its for a good cause and i am looking toward the payoff..i only hope the misterious realtor EVENTUALLY calls me back.lol.

Life in the Finney household is always eventful..still working on potty training...it'll happen eventually ..i hope:}. My husband Anthony is doing very well he still complains about his cranky old customers in fountain hills,az. They are very funny to hear but being there while it actually happened wouldnt be very fun. McKenzie is well..her latest funthing to do is coloring on everything..not fun. That and dumping fish food and foreign objects in the fish tank is always a delight..no worries candi if your reading this Cougar is doing great..he only swims upside down and to the left now...but hes just dandy as could be..hehe..jk We have a new member of the family now..His name is Rambo...he's a real killer. NOT . Anthony came home with a stray puppy Last Wendesday..he is a pure bred reservation dog...lol...comes complete with mange and only vision of right eye...hes a real looker..let me tell ya!! he puts all the other mange-y reservation dogs to shame. No but really he is coming a long way he is putting on a lot of weight and starting to fill out. When he first came to us you could count every bone on his body..poor thing. He is starting to play and he is always wags his tail. More or less he is soo happy to be with a family that loves him and overall is starting to enjoy life.

My friends are all well..candi is great...she is ..let me tell you...absolutely the greatest person and really..if you dont mind me saying so..quite the looker...lol..loves ya candi!!!! sorry for the pic i need a better one of us more up to date and me not looking so ragged due to the major bowling that took place that night..well love to all and ttys andeeleigh

Well i had the courage to talk my mom and she said yes!!!!!!!Now we have to see if she'll get approved...OH PLEASE LORD!!!!!!! I cant wait until i find out i really hope that it'll come through. Oh and in other compelling news my daughter got a peice of candy stuck in her nose.. oh and yes guess what the candy was called..a smartie....oh yes that will be one i tell the night of her first date. Oh yes my daughter..the great illusionist..not. I notice that as more she does that she knows she isnt supposed to do..she blames it on out dog Rockie. He is a yellow labrador, And as i watched Marley and Me i just had to be grateful that my lab is soo good..only he runs a little funny..but i really love him. I think that Labs are the best kind of dogs around, they are loyal they only want to please and they are soo great around kids. well I will write soon..hey candi I remembered!!!!!!!!!!!hehe

Well i really hope that i get our home in Anadarko,ok. its a beautiful home 4 bdrm. 2 bath brick home, really nice and clean..NOT FALLING APART!!!! yeahh and its 55,000.00..just the right price. We love the fact that wer close to our friends and family..however..the crime and neighborhood we are in is enough to make anyone crazy. Were both looking forward to relaxing and listening to the crickets at night. Not too mention that we will have a lot of family really close that are really fun and good people to be with. I really cant wait until were back in a small town...BUTTTT..i will really miss all my friends and family.
Its interesting that you can be raised in such a big enviroment in the city, and fall in love with the small town so fast. Its one stop light and that sound of the wind between the tall grass just at sunset..nothing like it. Not too mention that i really want to raise my daughter in it as well..i dont want to worry that she late getting home because shes missing and never to be found. Well christmas was wonderful and Mckenzie had a wonderful time. We had 3 christmas's and really enjoyed the time that we spent with family. More importantly the time that i had to spend with my husband and daughter. Good Lord i love my family....sooo muuccchhhh.
New years eve was great we had all of the needed fun..lol..we played candyland, drank sparkling cider, and banged the pots to ring in the new year..anthony got a little embarrassed and turned out the porch light...lol...we all laughed soo hard...it was soo fun..il never forget it.

Between visits to the zoo and movie nights and WORK my usual week..life is good its sweet and im loving every minute. ttys

Nothings really new just that everybodys soo busy with their life..OHH however the really neat thing that has been most recent has been finding that i have a new cousin. Shes 17 her name is Ashleigh..weird that my middle name is Leigh ..anyway but i am soo excited and i really have a lot of love for this girl. She s been through soo much and i cant help but have respect for her ..and hope that she does well with her life considering the trials that she has faced. I havent met her yet but i cant wait until i can. My dad has been on my mind a lot lately i hope that he i sokay and doing well..i want to call him but i am to guilty baout thiongs that has happened. McKenzie is great and dandy talking soo much and in such complete sentences. Well candi if you have read this then you'll be glad to know that i did rememember to write in my blog!!!! yeah i BLOGGED!!! jk..well i am thankful for everything

I am trying to get better at writing..but its really hard when you pull 12 hour shifts back to back to back...YUCK!!! However when you do In-home care i guess thats part of the job description. So my thoughts are on country music and how much i love it. I love Conway Twitty and George Jones..Merle Haggard and throw some John Anderson in there too!!! Old Country and the new country dont come too close too oftenand thats a sad thought However...i do love the new..i dont know theres a new one that nearly made me sick..its like a cowboy trying to be black rapper???? ya i know what your thinking..feeling sick yet??? I just cant put the image of a bull rider at the National Finals Rodeo looking in the camera and saying.." Man that ride was Dope man....all them hoes in the crowd ya'll just raise your hands and give a HAA and all you hoes over there in the back raise your hands and give a HOE...yaaa" ya um...im disgusted..wheres my george strait dadgummit...

Well i am trying to get back into the swing of things here again. A lot is going on right now. I do have a job FINALLY!! I take care of a quadriplegic disabled man, he was in a car crash..hes fun . A little on the overwhelming isde, he has O.C.D....thats the real kicker. Anywho, it takes a lot o fmy time up Which, in turn, i dont like. I love my Husband...oh yes thats right i am FINALLY MARRIED!!! YAAAA!!!! I am sooo happy about that one it took over three years..but everything is great and dandy..marriage life isn't that much different. Just that were sitting right with the lord now, not living in sin. My opinion you can decorate it with pretty frosting tryin gto make it look its best..however it is still sin to live together unwed and when your living together..well you know whwt happens..need i go into that?? However, it is still a sin..a big one and i full heartedly agree that that is a big reason why me and anthony had as many problems that we did have..the lord cant bless those that are living in sin..any way i will get off that subject, All i can say more is that me and anthony have been recieving so many blessings since the big day that we cant help but feel that they are inspired from the lord..so yes..get married if you truly love the person your with..things will all end up honkydorey.

Did i ever mention that the terrible two's are MORE than terrible...and can someone please tell me why in the heck my child decided to take upon an evil spirit...jk about that one..she just acts possesed sometimes..lol.. no but really....Her tantrums lately are a t an alltime TOP 10...and then some. It is just so much fun trying to get her to calm down that i began rating them..again ..jk. I just think about this when she does start in..The mothers role is to nurture..so i just need to nurture her...however is it an alltime fair to go deaf in the process??? You tell me..cause i am more than ready to have a listening ear..

The BIG DAY as i will call it was just awesome..i dont think that i ever blinked when i was looking across at anthony..there in my bishops living room(oh yes it was quite the spectacular event) i couldnt help but think that all the strife as i'll call it was in a weird way..all quit worth it..i could have gone without some of the drama..that goes on both of our ends..but if it took some major and dramatic moves..and some serious changes to get to where we stood there that day looking at each other abd takin the vows to take our relationship to an even more dazzling step.. it was all worth it!!!!! I have never been so happy to be with the love of my life..and i feel so lucky and grateful for the blessing that have came since...I thank my Heavenly Father every time i kneel in prayer....So other that the welli will callit the "Possesed Two's" and all the greatness that comes with matrimony...everything is all well at the end of my day!!!

I love my family!!! Did i mention that i am soo excited that i am very shortly going to be together with the love of my life...??? i am soo excited i just cant wait..it seems like an eternity...Anthony is sucha great dad he is patient with McKenzie and it is soomuch fun to watch him with her...i dont feel so bad because i know were both learning as we go..itis just sometimes comical to see him in action.. I remember this one day i got home from work and there he was with Kenz in her play room playing teaparty with her and her barbies and babies...what a sport... thats all i can say!!! He is soo awesome..and has completely devoted the rest of his life to us..to the really important people in his life.. RIGHT ON DAD!!!!

Just as i thought ...right when you have something planned...boom there it all goes out the window man i hate that when it happens..doesnt it just seem like it happens everytime too!! MAN oh man..anthony was suppose to be here this weekend but oh well ...it will be another week..but i know its because of something that couldnt be prevented..oh well..everything will be allright!! That is what i have been telling myself here lately to get through these trying times. All will be well..just have to keep my head up. I have always had a positive attitude partly due to my Firefighting background..If you dont have a positive attitude you'll let it all get to you and you'll find yourself being defeated by youe emotions. I remember when i finally realized that all my effort truly paid off and that was at the V.I.C.A state competitions there were 3 girls competing against like 6 vocational schools with a firefighting program..However..after MUCH study and earnest endeavors I found my self standing on the winners podium with a metal around my neck..it was third place. However third place it awesome when all the rest of the boys are sitting in the audience looking rather peeved..LOL..oh yes..sweet..sweet..victory.

There have been rather trying times in my life..and honestly i wouldnt have gotten thru them without the love and true caring of my beloved friends..Mostly candi..but i appreciate them all. I find my self somewhat sad that i never get to see most of my close friends anymore..it really is a bummer. But i guess thats what happens as you get older , married and have families. I am just grateful knowing that at least one of my friends is a true friend that has stuck by me thru thick and thin..All is well and slowly moving towards progress..And remember theres a story of a woman who walks up to the pearly gates carring a heavy cross upon her back..Heavenly father says" well hello..how may i help you?" She replies" I am soo heavy laden with this cross its just soo heavy and i want a smaller cross to carry..im just soo tired and need a break..Do u have any other crosses i might find to carry..hopefully Smaller ones..??" Heavenly Father says.." well yes i do..right in this room." As sh estepped in the room there were crosses..but huge ones..there was soo many of them..she never thought that she would find any small ones. She asked" Wow you dont have a small ones do you?" Just then she looked in the corner of the room and there was a small cross..with a big sigh she said " Oh i will take that one.." Heavenly father replied" Good..because thats the one you came in with." So no matter how dragged down you feel just remember that there are people with MUCH greater buridens they are carrying..be grateful for your trials they only make you stronger.

Oh Glorious Me!!!

Well I did it i am very slowly stepping into the internet water....slowly..that is. You see my Best Friend Candi is the brains behind this, she just doesnt know it yet!! LOL Well i am just starting my life here in Mesa, AZ. The Move was soo challenging but being here alone and waiting for my fiance is even HARDER!! My life has been filled with ups and downs as with most. However i have learne dwhat i want in life( about a decible that is) I am just excited for what i am about to begin and what my future with my loving lil family has in store..Now this picture of course is very old..in fact two years old..but the feelings that i felt that day havent changed one bit. I am proud of our family and all of its challenges . Mckenzie was born with a cleft lip and Cleft palate, it was a shock to all that was there..and too me. However, after two major surgeries and MANY more to go..she is more beautiful than ever!! She is super spoiled..god love her!!

The terrible twos are well..just terrible!! And i mean it, i thought that i had to have patience with her as an infant...but to think of the collosal patience i have to undergo on a daily basis with a two year old..sigh.For instance the other day...a bit embarrasing..but Kenz came into the front room without a diaper and diaper rash cream everywhere..oh no i dont mean on her hands and her tummy no it was a new sort of exciting body paint. And with gleaming eyes she said with her little bent smile.." WOW!!MOMMY WOOK AT ME. I PREETIE!!!"Needless to say...i need some me time in the future before i turn premature gray..
